How Did I Get Here???

After moving out from my family home, I was faced with the fact that I am 100% responsible for my own well being and that even though I have support from loved ones, the reality is that I need to learn to not depend on people around me for things that I can learn. I had to learn what I now know, and I’m still constantly trying to learn new things. In the five years since I first moved out, I worked, got married, moved around a lot, learned how to manage a home, and pretty much learned a lot about myself that I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t experience the things I did — even the unpleasant and boring ones.

So, how to adult? I’m certainly unsure of the exact definition of adulting, but I’d like to go with the idea that to adult is to be responsible for your own and your family’s well-being, to be able to contribute to your community, and to go about life learning nuggets of wisdom one bit at a time.

I’m not an expert at life, and there are a lot of things I don’t know yet… but then we’re all going through life in our own personal timing, right? So I think there are things I’ve experienced that might be valuable to you. I’m not sure what those things are yet, but I’m really excited for this new blog! I’ll be posting recipes, tipid tips, life hacks, budget tips, craft ideas, and many more!

If you’re still reading, thank you and welcome to my blog! I do hope you’re able to learn even a small bit of knowledge from whatever I’m gonna write from this point on… and I’m looking forward to learning from your comments and ideas too!

Enjoy learning and welcome to Adulting University Philippines!
